Part of the Royal Gardens and The Palace
Upon entering the main gates, you would take note of the many buildings in the area. On the right is a training building, the Salle, beyond that is the barracks for knights and guards in training. Beyond the barracks is the forge. To the left is the royal inn, where many go to relax, and some even find rooms there. Beyond the inn is the old Collegium, serving multiple purposes now. Past that is the stable and Companion's Field. In the center of the complex is a beautifully groomed courtyard. It is beyond this courtyard that the palace rests. Made by the king, with the help of his goddess, it is marble with inlays of mother of pearl. It seems to shimmer in the light like a priceless pearl. The large double doors are made of sturdy oak and flanked by a pair of guards. To the right is a pair of huge bronze doors, large enough to accomodate a dragon, which is, indeed, what they are for.

Once inside, a hallway would lead to the throne room, where the queen holds court. To each side of the throne room are a pair of double doors. One set of those doors, to the right if you are facing the thrones, leads to the gracious dining hall. From that room, a doorway leads to the kitchen, and another door opens to the hall to the servants quarters. On the left side of the throneroom, the doors open to the ballroom. On the other side another door opens to a hallway to guest chambers. On either side of those halls is a garden, encompassed by the castle, and a favorite retreat of many. The upper floors are restricted and only accessable with an escort. The castle does have dungeons, the entrances are kept concealed, and the guard passes it often. There is a heavy faction of guard about the castle, the battlements are manned by archers and those who man the ballistas, given by a friend of the kingdom. There is a wide variety of races represented in the kingdom. There are many villages, towns and cities that make up the kingdom, from small mining and farming communities to large trade centers and military hubs. The castle itself nestles at the edge of a forest with tall hills and a mountain behind it. Kencha Keep is in the mountains to the west, taking in a great deal of forest land and several lovely lakes. It is a peaceful and beautiful place. The main port, Barracuda Bay, is to the north east, supporting a thriving fishing trade and harboring many ships from other kingdoms as the main trade port. A new community has arisen in the north west of the kingdom, Valoria. This city is occupied by a mercenary company, led by Duke Spyder, and has pledged allegiance to the crown for granting it a home and land. Valeska is the bustling capitol city and is almost always busy. Mining is a main source of income, as is the raising of fine horses for both pleasure and duty. Wonderful weapons and jewelry come from the artisans and the kingdom never goes hungry, for the fine, fertile soil produces bountiful crops.
